Southern Yankee Beer Co. was started by the Porter Family to bring craft beer to North Houston and Spring. Though originally from New England, this military family brought with them their love of craft brewing and combined it with Texas flavors. This is where the Southern Yankee name comes from. They believe in exploring the full range of brewing styles and flavors with friends and customers, with a complete commitment to artful quality.
That commitment to quality resulted in an ongoing creative partnership with Padron Design Studio. We’ve enjoyed the opportunity to explore the fun side of craft brewing by designing Southern Yankee’s logo, illustrating their beer can labels, apparel, signage and more.
