The Evelyn Rubenstein JCC of Houston wanted to show it survived Hurricane Harvey, despite taking on 10 feet of water and suffering millions in damage to its locations. In two months, dozens of employees and volunteers made the event a success. Thousands visited Evelyn’s Park on December 17 in Bellaire, Texas. The festival included all-day musical acts, interactive art projects, crafts for kids, Judaica vendors, food trucks, and more.
